The most romantic day of the year is Valentine’s Day, so why not incorporate it into wedding day? These are some of our favourite ideas for the ultimate Valentine’s theme.
Your Outfit
As the bride, you’ll want to bring subtle nods to the celebration into your outfit. Small heart earrings or a stylish clutch bag with hearts are great ways of doing so. Small embroidery hearts on your dress can be a classy way to celebrate and will look so beautiful.
If you’re changing your shoes for the evening into trainers like Converse, why not embroider cute hearts into the canvas? You’ll have a pair personalised shoes to remember your special day with forever.
The Food and Drink
The perfect opportunity to go all out with the Valentine’s theme is with your cake. Sweet sugar hearts all over a cake is the perfect statement. Gold and red roses look stunning together to top the cake.
Red and pink macaroons go with the theme perfectly, use edible ink and you have placeholders. Cupcakes topped with hearts or edible petals are a lovely option for dessert.

A Valentine’s Cocktail will go down well. Keep is simple and serve pink gin and tonic with heart garnish or serve prosecco with a berries to add flavour.
Add the romance to your main meal too. Get your caterer to add heart shaped pastry onto the top of pies or
Decorations
Understated heart bunting can look so beautiful, like the example below. Heart balloons are another way to incorporate hearts into the styling. We love the idea of getting bespoke neon signs create which spell out yours and your new husband or wife’s initials or names.

Flowers
Roses are a no-brainer. Combine different colours in your bouquet and all around your venue. For a classic finish, stick to the basic red rose. Don’t forget to give the Groom and Groomsmen a rose buttonhole to tie it all together.

Use rose petals as confetti and scatter them onto the tables for a romantic touch.
