We had the absolute best day of our lives for our wedding at Over Barn last year! We visited December 2023, and booked without seeing another venue for the following August. Despite the quick(ish) turn around, the attention to detail on our wedding day was incredible. Jordan was a complete god send on the day, and ensured the venue was set up beautifully for our outdoor ceremony, indoor wedding breakfast, and then for the reception. The barn is the perfect balance of rustic yet refined with infinite photo opportunities. We’d do it all over again if we could! 💖

Welcome to Over Barn, a 19th century grain barn and event venue just outside Gloucester, much loved by brides, grooms, businesses and families. You just wait and see.

If you’re getting married or hosting an event and you want a dazzling backdrop, look no further than our lovingly restored barn and courtyard just north of Gloucester. High ceilings, period features, stunning lighting and unique games make this wedding venue near Gloucester one to remember.

Great catering is a crucial aspect of every perfect wedding day, and our very own Over Market team can provide catering that’s just as unique as you two! We’re especially known for unforgettable BBQs, pig roasts and wood fired pizzas, always made using the freshest local produce from our butchery.
