History
Originally built for grain storage more than 170 years ago, the barn was given a new lease of life in 2010, when it became an event venue.
The dusty beams were sandblasted clean, the dirt floor was concreted, and the roof was repaired to keep the wet out. Apart from that, the barn is as it was built and retained all its traditional character.
The Barn Now
Today it is a beautifully rustic wooden barn venue perfect for weddings and parties, with its own large courtyard featuring undercover seating, a skittle alley and fire pit. We can accommodate up to 120 people for a sit-down meal and up to 180 people for a party.
What you do with the barn is up to you! We want you to have the freedom to create the day of your dreams and you can decorate the barn and courtyard however your heart desires. Our dedicated, close-knit team will be on hand to support your vision every step of the way.
Our flexibility and friendly but professional team as well as our picturesque setting come together to make Over Barn the perfect place to hold your wedding reception.
The Farm
The barn is situated in the scenic grounds of Over Farm. Your photographer will be spoilt for choice, with so many opportunities available to capture the day. Take stroll through the woods, say hi to some of the resident animals or give your pictures a modern feel by using our steel barns as the perfect back drop. The possibilities are endless!
